The Date and the Setting

According to the Candlelight Club event page, the Christmas Party runs from 7:00 pm on Friday, December 11, 2026, until 1:00 am. The club chose a Friday rather than its usual Saturday on purpose, so groups of colleagues can make it their office Christmas party.

The premise is pure Prohibition fantasy: a speakeasy where sleigh bells mingle with clinking cocktail glasses and, for one night, the cop and the gangster share a toast. The club lists host Champagne Charlie, dance routines from Bonnie Fox, live music from the Shirt Tail Stompers, DJs the Bee's Knees spinning vintage records, tarot reading and a pop-up vintage jewelry shop.

The secret location

The venue is part of the experience. As the club's location page explains, the address is not published. Ticket holders receive an email two days before the event with directions and the password. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder first, then contact the club in good time. If you are traveling into London and need to book a hotel, the club will share the general area on request.

How Tickets Work

The official tickets page is clear about the structure:

• Every guest needs an entry ticket. It covers entry and entertainment. Everything else is an optional extra on top.
• Tickets are sold through Design My Night, which adds an admin fee to your order.
• Events often sell out in advance, especially for groups, and the club does not offer group discounts.
• No cash refunds. You can transfer a ticket to someone else by telling the club the new name, and resale is possible through Tixel.

Tables, dinner and drinks

A three-course set dinner can be pre-ordered with your ticket and includes a seat at a table, which you may share with other guests. Our advice: if you are going with friends, reserve a table. A Christmas party in a candlelit room is far more glamorous with a home base, a bottle on ice and somewhere to leave your wrap between dances.

What to Wear to the Candlelight Club

This is the part everyone enjoys. The club's dress code asks guests to dress up: everyone does, and that is what makes the room. The general theme is always the 1920s, and at Christmas you can play up the season. The firm rules: evening wear, no T-shirts, jeans or trainers.
